In 2020 Confirmation, part of Thomson Reuters, released the global report Uncovering Fraud in the Age of COVID-19, the latest in a series exploring insights which would help audit firms meet their responsibility to detect fraud.

The report explored how the pandemic was generating both familiar and novel forms of fraud and summarised both global trends in fraud detection and prevention. With contribution from global executives, it provided an insight into the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic felt by institutions around the globe.

This supplemental report, written in partnership with IQPC Australia, takes a deeper dive into the ANZ region, focusing more closely on the specific trends and challenges having most impact.
